How Visibly works & what it accesses
We built Visibly to be transparent about what it touches. Here is exactly what happens when you use it, and where your control sits.
Verification comes first
Before Visibly crawls anything or generates any content, you must prove you own or control the site — with a meta tag or a DNS TXT record. If a site is not verified, Visibly will not access it.
What the crawler accesses
- Only the pages of sites you have registered and verified.
- It honours your
robots.txtand rate-limits itself to crawl politely. - It identifies itself as VisiblyBot. You can read about it at /bot.
What the snippet touches — and what it does not
The snippet applies the on-page fixes you have approved, in the page's DOM. That is all it does.
It does not collect analytics, does not track your visitors, and does not gather personal or third-party data. It fails gracefully, so your site keeps working even if the snippet cannot load.
AI drafts are never auto-published
Every recommendation and every piece of AI content is held for your approval. Nothing is applied to your site or routed to your CRM or webhook until you approve it. You review, you decide.
Export or delete your data
You can delete your account and its data at any time from the account controls in your dashboard. To export your data, or if you need help deleting it, email support@myvisibly.com and we'll take care of it.
